Winter driving? Not something Nebraskans really good at. I recall seeing about 10 accidents just in Lincoln city limit when I am going back and forth to work/house today.
And the drive to Omaha for sushi dinner took much longer than necessary – I am a Octane fan, rock music simply ROCKS!!! Err, I also love my sushi and want to get there fast and safe!!
I-80 users driving at their own version of “top speed” – fine.
Hogging the driving and middle lanes – fine.
Semi blocking the passing lane for more than 5 miles – not fine.
Maintaining distance bubble around, especially during winter time, seems to be what’s lacking for NE drivers. Chip in another 5 cars driving around without lights on (WTF?), 2 more driving on the passing & middle lane (2 wheels in each lane).
Truly impressed, but it still can’t top the Mustang kid trying to drive on interstate in last winter, his Mustang did not have traction in any possible way and sliding everywhere. That’s why you buy a car that is heavy like a tank and still got the juice to go where you want to go, summer or winter.

Drive with a cautious mind doesn’t mean driving at a third of the speed limit and chilling in middle lane. Get back to the driving lane (the one on the right) and follow the minimum speed limit for the sake of others’ safety.
